From Worcester ⇒ Northumberland, stopping in the Lake district first to see waterfalls. Then onto Kielder water & forest park, because of it being out of season it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves, a private lesson doing Archery and a quiet lakeside walk looking for red squirrels.
Then travelling a little over five minutes to the Sky Den where we stayed for two days. An Incredible design built on stilts with the river running right underneath you. A roof that literally opens and furniture that you pull out of the walls and slot together yourself. A MUST GO, It's on a site which provide a load of indoor and outdoor activities you can book at the desk (which are very reasonably priced) so you will never be bored. It's perfect for a long weekend away.
